Well it all started in a donut shop. Secret service style mommy meetings. Covert operation thrift shopping and enjoying each others adult company while the cini-minis ran around screaming like banshees. Cini-minis are what we call our kids.
Cini-minis are these fabulous treat at Kims Donuts in commerce texas. I think its the center of the cinnamon roll ? Leftovers from the roll ? *shrug* who knows,who cares. They are SOOOOOO tasty.
So we call our selves the donut hos. Its catchy and if you get the pleasure of meeting us and hanging you will learn we are quite okay with well the ho part of it.
It was a name said in jest and well it stuck.
Thus our yahoo group called the Donut Hos was born.
We are all kind of in the same area. Some live up north in the big ol' city of Dallas and some of us are spread out into the rural parts of the unknown, but mostly we meet in Commerce. The big popular college town that it is and our favorite donut shop is there. Since the Kims Donuts can not come to us, we go to it.
On our blog we will keep you up to date with the recent doings of our moms group, who joins, who has been a member and is featured that week, crafty adventures and more.
You never know where the ho's, as we so lovingly call one another, end up.
Kicking off our blog what better way than with something well..out of the norm.
We are a moms group that is growing.If you are local feel free to join us :) You do have to fill out a application of sorts (questions kind of) and meet us in order to be a full member, but it is worth it. Trust me. You will not meet a more open, generous and caring support group for moms than this one locally.
So one of our new ho's Jerri Ann ( we kind of consider you new if you havent been here a year yet) threw us a moms night out 3 weeks ago.
It was awesome. Wish you could have been there,but since you werent Ill share a little about our shindig with you.
Alot of the ho's showed up and brought some friends along. What better way to initiate our newest 2 members into the group than with a Pure Romance party.
You got it. Sex toys, lotions and oh yeah Alice downing the jello shots.
Moms group ? OMG WHERE ?? j/k. We were on a moms night out. No kiddos, no hos-bands. Just us doing our thang. We are crazy that way.
So anyhoo, we have some great foods and getting the party started is Alice.Super hottie single mom from commerce herself. She demonstrated some lotions and their fabulousness to us with her little dance around the living room area as we all crack up and fall over ourselves.
Shes a student .. and hot. Did I say single and HOT ?

Awesome finger foods included specialty shaped jello jigglers (hey use your imagination there) ,cheesecake, and yummy samplers of fruit.
Got some great pictures , had a good night out. It was fun.
The best part. Well,there was this there pajama contest.

Yeah walked up OUT the house with curlers in her har. Whats wrong with folks nowdays letting themselves up out the house that way. Mamas oughta be ashamed.

Well we dont know any ralphs so we just had to send that chick on her way,cause DAYUM.

For real,though. Edna is really Celia. Another member of the group. Duh.
Celia is this big time theater costume designer chick. She dont do nuthin halfway yall.She went ALL out.
